Dr. Jim Maddox, DVM

Name:
Maddox, Dr. Jim

After completing my undergraduate studies at Oregon State University, I entered the Veterinary Medicine program and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. During those years, OSU did not have a small animal program so my class spent two years in Pullman Washington studying small animal medicine and surgery at Washington State School of Veterinary Medicine. Studying medicine at two different schools was a great opportunity with a lot of diversity in faculty instructors and case exposure. Since then, I have practiced as a small animal clinician and surgeon in Eugene. During my free time I enjoy fly-fishing, camping, sailing, cooking, reading, and remodeling our home. My wife Janet and I currently live in Brownsville where we have a home with numerous pets including, Tansy and Sadie our Golden Retrievers, Maggie the pug, and two Ragdoll cats, Kiely and Tipper.
